Black Rhinoceros - The Black Rhinoceros (Diceros bicornis) is a mammal of the Perissodactyla order which lives in the eastern areas of Africa including Kenya, Tanzania, Cameroon, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe. The black rhinoceros is on the endangered species list due to excessive poaching for their horns, which are mostly used in dagger handles as a symbol of wealth in many countries.
Okapi - The okapi (Okapia johnstoni) is an unusual mammal of the Ituri Rainforest in central Africa. Although it bears striped markings reminiscent of the zebra, it is actually the only living close relative of the giraffe.
Gerenuk - The Gerenuk (Litocranius walleri) is an antelope, also called the giraffe gazelle, found in East Africa. The origin of the name is believed to be from a Somali name for the mammal.
